Getting to Nottingham East Midlands Airport
Nottingham East Midlands Airport is situated in
the centre of the country 18 miles south of Nottingham City Centre,
17 miles southeast of Derby and 19 miles northwest of Leicester.
How to get to Nottingham East Midlands Airport
By Car
The airport is ideally located just off junction
24 of the M1. This connects to the A453 less than 10 minutes away
from the airport terminal and our car parking facilities. From
the West the airport is approached by the M5/ M42 link onto the
A453 and from the A42 from Birmingham.
By Bus
All the surrounding cities of Derby, Leicester and
Nottingham have connections to Nottingham East Midlands airport.
This may require you to change at main city depots unless you
are lucky enough to be close to the route taken to the airport.
Hourly buses are available from these main centres.
Always allow sufficient time for connections and always check
start and finish times, they maybe outside the operating hours
required.
Getting here by Rail
The railway stations of Loughborough, Long Eaton,
Nottingham and Derby are all located just a short bus or taxi
ride from NEMA. These are all served by the main Intercity trains
which are operated by Midland Mainline and Central Trains.
